Build a Professional Network:
Professional networks are curated over a lifetime and we’ll lay the foundation by teaching you “how” to network. From exploring the importance of impression management to learning how to conduct an informal “coffee chat” interview.
Put that “how” into practice by connecting with our network of MBA alumni from around the world, as well as hundreds of employer partnerships from across Canada.
Corporate Residency Experience:
Your career begins just a few short months into the program and the possibilities are limitless.
Our students secure corporate residencies with employers in the private, not-for-profit, and public service sectors across the country.
Average Corporate Residency Earnings: $32,000/8-months
“For most international students who don’t have work experience here in North America it is priceless to have this 8-month Corporate Residency in well established firms. For me it was the most correct decision made before 25!”
Barry Liu (MBA, 2022) Financial Analyst, Nova Scotia Power

Certificates:
The Leadership Certificate provides the opportunity for students to develop their personal and professional competencies through the examination and application of contemporary leadership management theories in a variety of challenging contexts.
The Finance Certificate allows students to focus on critical analysis and decision-making skills that are fundamental to management and client service roles in a financial services workplace.
Gain a global perspective:
Students in the Corporate Residency pathway have the option to apply for exchange during the fall semester of second year at either Copenhagen Business School, in Copenhagen and Toulouse Business School in France, two prestigious international business schools
Joint JD/MBA Option:
Acquire two degrees in four years rather than the five it takes to complete both separately with the JD/MBA pathway. Delivered in partnership with Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, students develop a dual lens to tackle complex and converging problems in the business and legal landscapes.
“The value of the joint JD/MBA is the breadth of experience from both a legal standpoint and from a business standpoint and to see how that translates into the practice of law on a day to day basis.”
Charlotte Henderson (JD/MBA, 2021) Corporate Associate at Stewart McKelvey
